Easy Homemade Pigs in a Blanket with Spicy Mustard Dipping Sauce

WOOHOO!! I hope you all liked our Easy Omelet Muffins because I am about to blow your mind with this quick and easy lunch idea for the kids to pack in their lunch boxes! Almost every child loves pigs in a blanket, right? With this recipe, you can add a new idea to your list of lunches and think outside the box of sandwiches, pinwheels, etc. Serve these homemade pigs in a blanket with a spicy mustard dipping sauce and a handful of grapes so your kiddos will be the talk of the school at lunchtime! Mom wins cool points too ;)

Easy Pigs in a Blanket with Spicy Mustard Dipping Sauce

Don’t pass up this recipe! These easy pigs in a blanket are delicious and so stinkin’ easy to make too! They are perfect for a quick grab & go lunch idea!

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hebrew National Beef Franks
  • 2 pkg. H-E-B Flaky Butter Crescents

Dipping Sauce Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Open crescents and roll dough out on parchment paper.
  3. Cut Hebrew National Beef Franks in half.
  4. Place 1/2 a beef frank onto the crescent dough and roll to the end (starting at the wider end).
  5. Place on a baking sheet and cook for 12-15 mins.
  6. While the pigs in a blanket are cooking, get a small bowl and mix all other ingredients together into a sauce.
  7. Once pigs in a blanket have finished baking, drizzle sauce over the top or serve on the side.

  • 1/8 cup spicy brown mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp Hidden Valley Ranch
  • 1 1/2 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Slap Ya Mama Seasoning
